Yes, before we are able to build your patio, we need approval from your local council to do so. This is called a ‘Building Permit’ and can take anywhere from a few days up to 6 weeks to receive. Sometimes your patio may require Planning approval before a building permit can be granted and this will delay the approval process somewhat depending on your shire.

The average waiting time for a council to grant this is between 2 weeks and 3 months depending on various factors. Once we have a ‘Building Permit’, we aim to have your patio built within 5-10 weeks depending on complexity of the project and materials supply.

Yes, we can apply for council approval on your behalf. We will submit all the required drawings, site plans and engineering requirements and ensure that the whole process is completed in the quickest possible time. If this is something you wish to do yourself we can still supply all the required paperwork for you to hand in.

Patio size depends on your block size, setback requirements, and local council rules. Most Perth councils allow patios up to a certain percentage of the lot area. We assess your property during the free consultation and advise you on the maximum size allowed.

Yes. All our patios are supplied with gutters and downpipes as standard. These are included in your quoted price and installed as part of the project.

Colorbond steel is specifically engineered for Australian conditions – it resists termites, won’t warp or crack in the heat, requires virtually no maintenance, and carries a manufacturer warranty. Timber looks great initially but requires ongoing sealing, sanding and treatment to maintain its appearance and structural integrity.

No. All standard Colorbond colours are available at the same price. There is no additional charge for colour selection.
